About David Reaboi

David Reaboi builds intelligence systems that bring the depth of expert inquiry to information warfare at the scale and tempo at which it is waged. He comes to that work with a skillset no one else has: recognized authority and a practitioner’s experience in the subject matter; a writer’s command of argument and explanation; and his own rigorous methodology for extending that knowledge through AI.

He founded EDUT to turn this approach against antisemitic conspiracy narratives and the information warfare that spreads them. Its initial focus is the American Right, and its research is built to equip the journalists and institutions confronting these narratives.

EDUT is the culmination of more than two decades in national security, directing communications campaigns, leading writers and researchers, and his own thinking about the intersection of media, policy, and influence. That background informs the architecture itself: the questions a system pursues, the relationships it recognizes, and the judgments through which it interprets new information.

David is the president of Strategic Improvisation, the firm he founded in 2019, where his work has included political analysis, strategic communications, research, and publishing for individuals, organizations, and governments. He was previously Senior Vice President for Strategic Operations and War Room Director at Security Studies Group; Vice President for Strategic Communications at the Center for Security Policy, where he founded its publishing imprint and published twenty books; and Communications Director for Right on Crime at the Texas Public Policy Foundation in Austin.

In 2011, he helped create Big Peace, Andrew Breitbart’s national security site, as its senior editor. He has ghostwritten or contributed to several books about Sunni Islamist movements. His writing has appeared at Tablet, inFOCUS Quarterly, the Claremont Review of Books, American Greatness, The Federalist, The Washington Times, the Jewish Journal, Human Events, The American Mind, RedState, and elsewhere. David received a BA from George Washington University in International Affairs, with a concentration in the history of the Cold War.

David’s background in culture is as long as his career in politics. He designs book covers, interiors, and complete editions for authors and publishers, along with logos, advertising images, and other visual work. He worked for a decade as a double-bassist in New York and San Francisco, playing jazz, improvised music, and music for modern dance with many of the legendary figures in the jazz avant-garde. His writing on jazz, film, criticism, and the life of cities has appeared at Late Republic Nonsense. As an avid amateur competitive bodybuilder, he can also be found daily at the gym and eating meals out of Tupperware.

He lives in Miami Beach with his beloved Doberdoodle, Miles.
